Method and Apparatus for Applying Pressure to the Lower Limb to Increase Blood and Lymph Circulation

The disclosed technology is intended to address fluid accumulation in the legs that is symptomatic of lower extremity disorders, such as peripheral vascular disease (PVD) and lymphedema.  The device is designed to be worn on the foot and leg and to provide directional pressure to move the fluid in the lower extremity back towards the heart. The directional pressure force is created by the heel strike of each step.
